How do you stay motivated with all this candy in the house???
I've tried to resist the urge by eating this yummy trail mix with an M&M candy fix. ;)
Doing great so far.........

Meals of the Day (10/30/11)
Helped set up my uncles haunted house so had dinner there so I did a little slurging... But here ya go.
Breakfast:
1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
1 tablespoon of rolled oats
1/3 cup of blueberries.
One of my favorite quick breakfasts.
Lunch:
Grilled Chicken burger on wheat at Sonics. Yummy yummy!
W/ a hand full of sStacy's Pita Chips.
Dinner:
They BBQ'd Tri-Tip, chicken.. With tons of sides but I didn't fully indulge because I'm trying to stay discipline now thru the holidays. Wish me Luck!
Smoked Chicken breast
A bite of my sons Tri-tip
Scoop of a seafood rice casserole experiment. (which turned out AMAZING!)
Scoop of Caesar Salad.
Snacks:
None
Exercises:
50 minutes of cardio
And plenty of ups and downs on the step stool to help with decorating.

What I Ate Yesterday... (10/29/11)
Here's what i ate yesterday, not a normal day since it was a busy Saturday but I'm gonna try to be dedicated to post these EVERY day, no matter what, so i'm not tempted to cheat. Good or Bad? You still will catch a glimpse.
Breakfast:
Pretty bad but I pretty much skipped this meal yesterday. :-/ got so busy that morning & it kind of slipped away from me.
Lunch:
Shrimp Fajitas. :)
1 flour tortilla (should've went for wheat)
1/4 cup Variety of Sliced bell peppers
1/8 cup of red and white onions
Salt and Pepper to taste.
Usually I would add Fajita seasoning which I put in the boys but it was flavorful without. & sugar was in the ingredients which is something I'm trying to steer clear of.
Dinner:
3 thin slices of a baked chicken
1 serving of stuffing
1 cup of field greens w/ light ranch.
Snacks:
Not much today and I'm usually a big snacker which is what got me in the weight loss mumbo jumbo to begin with.
15 Raw Almonds ( more or less )
12-15 Stacy's Pita Chips
Exercise:
20 minutes of onDemand cardio.
Not a bad day at all but could've at least ate breakfast. & I also was sipping on water all day and a glass of green tea that am. I could've upped the exercise but I've went hard all week I need a little breather.

New Path
I have decided to take my bog another way. Yes, I will still post about my little munchkin. :) But I have decided to live a healthier lifesytle. It's depressing waking up unstatisfied with how you look in the mirror. And I do know that I propbablly won't be as thin as I was in high school but my son deserves that same spunkiness. I did what I told myself I would never let happen after having a baby, I let myself go. :(
I no longer wear the cute outfits I was known to wear.
No longer strap on the heels I once loved.
Actually 75% of the time I admit to not even combing my hair. ( Yeah I know, sad.)
But what is really bothering me is the weight I began to put on over the years.
I don't wanna be that girl anymore!
I have decided to live a better lifestyle . NO MORE DRIVE THRU! Cookies? oh how I love you but I no longerneed WANT you. Never need you to begin with. More walking, more gym, more veggies, fruit, and MORE energy, more fun. which will in return give me a better LIFE.
This journey is not all about weight loss becasue I only need to lose about 25 to be where I want, but it's about BETTERING ME and living my life to the fullest potential and I will get that by taking care of my body and being more consious about what I'm putting into my body.
What better way to stay on track than to share with the world, if the world is watch I will be less likely to cheat which as been my failure in the past.
As the days go I will post my meals, maybe daily? (will figure out in a later post how exactly I will do that), my weight loss and measurements weekly (most likely on Sunday evenings) and post links, qoutes, sites, etc., whatever I find inspiring along the way.
Follow me and please introduce yourself if you are also in the same boat as me... fitness/health buddies will be helpful as well.
