Trainer

Meet with a trainer today and I'm so glad I did!

I promise working with a trainer gives you a complete reality check. My form was wrong in half of my excercises and being pushed to finish is what I lack on my own. I enjoyed my experience and will definitly continue my sessions.

When I booked the training session I had no idea what I was in store for being that I never have had one before. I knoew from watching TV and al but never first hand experienced it. When I got to the gym, LATE, :-/ he was there waiting for me and he began by giving me a wealth of information about nutrition, cardio, and weight training. We went over a few target goals I had in mind and he talked me through what he felt would be the best ways to reach these goals...
Just as I thought we were done (but of course we couldn't talk our way toward fitness) he took me to the mats , where I warmed up with some cardio while he was setting up weights and different activities for when I was done with my warm up.
After warming up, I wentto the mat where he showed me various forms of lunges, squats, push ups, crunches, etc.
I did 3 set of about 10 reps depending, I WAS DYING!!! lol ...I'm so out of shape and this proved it.
Just the day before I was doing these things without pushing myself and without proper form and was doing FANTASTIC, but now that I was doing things the right way I FELT the BURN. :-O

Influenster - Cosmo VoxBox

I'm so ranking behind on writing this post....
Between working full-time and studying for school, I'm pretty swamped as of late.




A couple weeks ago I received my Cosmo VoxBox after waiting patiently for some time. I was so excited to be approve and even more ecstatic when it arrived at my door step.

The packages was nice and the products inside we secure and there was no damage inside and out.... Foam 'peanuts' kept products safe and sound.

Inside the products I received to test we beady products (hint the name Cosmo) :-P

A little about the products received and first thoughts:


1. Venus Razor - really excited with this product, I recently looked at this product in the store but backed down because of price because I was being a cheapo & felt the 3 dollar razor was good enough. Packaging was pretty and the color and design are equally cute.

2. Proactiv 3 in 1 acne system - Not too thrilled about this product. I've used it in the past and was never entirely happy with it. I guess I'm glad I get the chance to revisit this product and figure out how a like it this time around. Maybe the formula has been tweaked a little since when I tries it back in high school.

3. Vitabath Shower Gel - I'm pretty positive I'm going to be in LOVE with this product. Smells AMAZING ;) I haven't heard much about this or seen in the stores. I believe it's sold in drug store but that may be the reason I haven't seen it since I don't go to drug stores very often.

Do you ever cheat on your diet and feel super duper bad about it? Because that's how I feel.

I didn't pack a lunch for work today so I had no choice but to pop some change in the vending machine. Either that or mcdonalds. Chips and M&Ms later i feel horrible. :( Back on track tomorrow! && I will be busting my ass on my workout tomorrow morning. No excuses.

Trick? Or Treat?

How do you stay motivated with all this candy in the house???
I've tried to resist the urge by eating this yummy trail mix with an M&M candy fix. ;)
